A few weeks back I joined a Facebook 'Urban photography' group because I really like quite a few of the photos that get posted there, and with 15,221 members there are lots to look through. Each week they hold a competition where people vote (via likes) on their favourite photo of the week and the winner gets their photo used as the page's banner.
I was very pleased to be selected this week as the winner for one of the photos I shot down in Camden.
Jules from the "Secret Society of Photographers" group on Facebook put a link to a photography competition. There's a fee to enter which got me wondering whether it's ever worth paying to enter a photography competition.
What do you think? Would you pay to enter a competition? How much would you pay? What would be the deciding factor?
