I saw this guy's (Vernon) amazing beard whilst drinking in the Railyway Hotel pub. I asked him outside to get some better light and took this against a black wall.

I asked this guy for a photo and he was grinning and posing and I said; "No. Can I just see the real you? Think of your mother."
He pulled this face.
"All okay?"
"My mother died last month."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
