Pineapple

Since my pepper in the style of Edward Weston got into the finals of the 'Art of Photography' I thought i'd try another one.  I picked up a pineapple for a pound and have it a go.

I used the same technique.  A high aperture and shot 25 images illuminating them with a very high lumens torch then combined them images in Photoshop into a 1½ Gb image.  Some tidying up (mostly to remove stray light from the background) and some final processing in Silver Efex Pro 2 and this is what I ended up with.

 I preferred the pepper picture. The pepper being fleshier I feel the light permeated the skin more than the pineapple giving it a more interesting look.
