I was searching for an interesting contemporary photographers I might like and came across this site. A simple list containing their name, date of birth, brief bio and a sample image. Well worth browsing through. (Link below)
I was struck by Erwin Olaf (June 2, 1959): "Erwin Olaf Springveld is a world renowned Dutch photographer. Erwin Olaf never shies away from controversy and his work is often daring and provocative. He works both commercially and as a Fine Art photographer. He has received many awards and he has exhibited around the world."
There are two volumes and a retrospective of his work available (though the first is currently a little expensive, and the retrospective even more so).
